Commit to your craft, expand your toolkit, and challenge yourself to grow into the actor you want to be. While these classes can be taken individually, we’re offering this discounted option to take all five and save $330.
Classes start January 6 and include:
On-Camera Acting: Wednesday nights
Build confidence, authenticity, and ease in front of the camera through hands-on scene work, playback review, and practical exercises for film, television, and self-taped auditions. This class culminates in a showcase with feedback from invited casting professionals.
Alexander Technique for Actors: Thursday nights
Explore the Alexander Technique in this eight-week course designed to improve body awareness, alignment, and ease of movement. Through hands-on work, text, and voice exercises, you’ll develop greater physical freedom and presence in your performances and everyday life.
Voice for the Actor: Saturday late morning
Develop a more expressive, resonant, and powerful voice while discovering what makes it uniquely yours in this six-week class based on Lessac Kinesensics. Through guided exercises and text work, you’ll expand your vocal range, deepen your connection between body and voice, and communicate with greater freedom, intention, and authenticity.
Scene Study: Saturday afternoons
Dive into contemporary scenes and deepen your ability to embody a character. Through an individualized approach and exercises inspired by Meisner, Shurtleff, and Viewpoints, you’ll strengthen your acting technique, and bring greater depth and authenticity to your work.
Physical Freedom For Actors: Sunday afternoons
Explore the Williamson Technique in this eight-week course designed to help actors express themselves truthfully through the body. Through movement, breath, sensory exploration, and partner exercises, you’ll develop greater physical freedom, spontaneity, and availability in your acting.
