The world of auditioning has made its way to self-tapes across all areas of the industry, even for theatre. This workshop gives you the opportunity to take the good work you've done on stage and in classes, and transfer it to in front of the camera.
We'll cover the basics of:
- How to set up your space for a self-tape, including using tools and equipment you already have at home
- The mechanics of filming a tape - lighting, background, how to make it look and sound good
- Transferring your performance from the stage to the self-tape - monologues, scenes, and the dreaded slate
- The post-audition technology: how to edit your tapes and send them off with professional quality
