The Lucid Body is a dynamic physical acting technique created by Fay Simpson (faculty, NYU Grad Acting) integrating Jungian psychology, yogic philosophy, and the chakra system into a powerful, psychophysical process for inhabiting character.

This introductory workshop invites actors of all backgrounds, from seasoned professionals to those newly curious about the craft, to experience how self-awareness and compassion can awaken deeper character work. Through visceral yet practical exercises, you will:

• Identify and shift personal habits that limit expression.

• Build a more nuanced understanding of your own given circumstances.

• Stretch your emotional and physical range to embody characters with authenticity and depth.

Please bring a yoga mat, water bottle, and wear clothes that allow for freedom of movement.
