This workshop will offer a taste of Jerzy Grotowski's vast body of work. We will explore plastiques and corporeals, and play with methods of spelunking consciousness. This work paves the way for freeing the emotional instrument and deeply embodying character work. Taylor worked with Steven Wangh, author of An Acrobat of the Heart, and she carries forth teachings Wangh learned from Grotowski himself. By understanding Grotowski's unique way of approaching actor training, presence awakens and impulses become more readily available.
