Keira Fromm is a JEFF Award nominated director (for her production of Lobby Hero for Redtwist Theater) and a casting director in Chicago. Directing credits include: Enfrascada for 16th Street Theater (upcoming), Confluence and The Ring for Sketchbook ’10 and ’11 at Collaboraction; Pop Tart and Another Kind by Tanya Saracho for American Theater Company; staged readings of Adam & Emily for Steep Theater Company, Between Us for Route 66 Theater Company, Mala Hierba for About Face Theater, Thismia Americana and Lucinda’s Bed for Chicago Dramatists, and A Twist of Water for Red Tape Theater.
Keira has also served as Assistant Director to Gary Griffin on Follies and Anna D. Shapiro on Magnolia. While living in New York City, Keira served as the Resident Director of the popular off-Broadway shows, The Donkey Show and The Karaoke Show. She was also the resident Casting Director for Music-Theatre Group and was the Audience Casting Coordinator on the Broadway show The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee.
Keira received her MFA in Directing from DePaul University and her BFA from Boston University. She has been the Casting Associate at Chicago Shakespeare Theater since 2009.
